Daniel acquired his Master of Film & Digital Image degree at the University of Sydney. Stations of his career include Bavaria Film, the Ministry of Culture Film Funding Devision and Deutsche Welle TV.
For Germany’s largest television network ZDF and in co-production with 3Sat, Daniel produced and directed two 45 minute documentary films.
For his previous films he received i.a. the Award for Excellence in Moving Image from the University of Sydney and Apple., as well as a full postgraduate scholarship from the leading scholarship program in Germany, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Daniel also wrote and published two books, his first at the age of 18. He co-authored a third book, published by one of Germany’s largest publication companies, dtv.
Daniel schloss sein Studium mit dem Master of Film & Digital Image an der University of Sydney ab. Stationen seines Werdegangs waren u.a. Bavaria Film, Beauftragte für Kultur und Medien Filmreferat K35 und Deutsche Welle TV.
Für das ZDF, in Zusammenarbeit mit 3Sat, realisierte er als Produzent und Regisseur zwei 45-minütige Dokumentarfilme.
Für seine Kurzfilme erhielt er u.a. den Award for Excellence in Moving Image von der University of Sydney und Apple, und ein Postgraduiertenstipendium des DAAD.
Daniel schrieb und veröffentlichte zwei Bücher. Sein erstes im Alter von 18 Jahren. Als co-Autor schrieb er sein drittes Buch, welches beim dtv erschienen ist.
